DBR’s greatest asset is its people. We’ve grown together as the scope of our work has grown, and are proud of the breadth and depth of our skill, most of which is kept – uniquely – in-house.

Management team
DBR employs over 100 skilled craftspeople, and this body of talent allows us to carry out a wide variety of conservation techniques to historic building fabric, both externally and internally. Our work includes stonework repair and replacement, masonry cleaning, joinery conservation, gilding, decorative surface conservation, polychrome analysis, roofing repairs and renewal in lead, copper, zinc, tiles and slates.

Our Technical & Professional team comprises the skilled specialists who support the day‑to‑day planning, delivery, and financial management of DBR’s projects. Working closely with management, site teams, and craftspeople, they play a vital role in ensuring projects are accurately costed, carefully monitored, and efficiently delivered. Their technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and practical understanding of construction and conservation underpins DBR’s ability to manage complex projects with clarity and control.
