Paul is a highly experienced conservation mortar specialist with over 30 years in the masonry and repair industry. He began his career as a trainee restorer and has progressed to a site-based Foreman, leading conservation works on complex and sensitive heritage projects.
Paul specialises in fine detailed restoration, including decorative stonework such as garlands, capitals, columns, and mouldings, alongside expert colour matching and the application of traditional lime mortars and coatings. His meticulous approach ensures repairs integrate seamlessly with historic fabric while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship.
As a foreman, Paul is responsible for health and safety, quality control, and team coordination, consistently delivering projects to programme in occupied and public environments. His extensive portfolio includes work at the Tower of London, Royal Pavilion Brighton, Royal Courts of Justice, Apsley House, Harrods, and the Palace of Westminster, demonstrating his expertise across some of the UK’s most prestigious historic buildings.
