Brian joined DBR in 2016 as a Joinery Foreman, bringing with him extensive carpentry and joinery experience gained during his time working for the National Trust. He completed a time-served apprenticeship in joinery and carpentry in the late 1970s and went on to work with major contractors throughout the 1980s, before becoming a partner in a maintenance company specialising in carpentry, plumbing, and tiling. Since 2008, Brian has worked predominantly in the heritage sector, focusing on high-quality second-fix carpentry and joinery.
Brian is a highly capable foreman, known for his rigorous approach to health and safety, detailed site records, and consistent delivery of exemplary workmanship. His work ranges from protective hoardings to fine joinery, including sash windows, all completed to exacting standards. His contributions at Buckingham Palace, where his separating hoardings and protective screens received praise from the Royal Household, highlight his attention to detail and professionalism. Brian has also delivered joinery works at the Palace of Westminster, Westminster Hall, Liberty London, and the Natural History Museum, supporting DBR’s delivery of high-quality heritage projects.
