Adrian Attwood ACR is Executive Director and Chairman of DBR and is an Accredited Conservator ACR with ICON. Adrian has nearly four decades of experience in heritage assets delivering complex conservation projects and providing technical advice to owners and custodians of some of the nation’s most significant historic buildings.

He leads DBR Conservation and DBR Southern, and serves as Projects Director for major heritage programmes in London, including works at the Kensington Museums and the Palace of Westminster. Throughout his career, he has championed excellence in conservation, combining traditional craftsmanship with innovative approaches to the preservation of the historic built environment.

A passionate advocate for craft skills and education, Adrian established the DBR Heritage Education Centre and regularly delivers conservation seminars, heritage training, and CPD programmes for professionals, clients, and building owners. He has also lectured internationally across Europe, America and Russia, and has undertaken surveys of historic building assets in Turkey.

Adrian is President of Stone Federation Great Britain, a Trustee of QEST The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust, and a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Masons. He is also the grantee responsible for DBR London Limited’s Royal Warrant, recognising the company’s outstanding service and craftsmanship. Widely respected across the heritage sector, Adrian continues to promote the highest standards in conservation while inspiring the next generation of skilled craftspeople.
