Giles Bilbrough MCIOB

Giles Bilbrough MCIOB is Operations Director at DBR Limited and has been with the company since 2015, joining as a Projects Manager after completing a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Construction Management and gaining earlier experience as a Project Manager and Construction Engineer. He was promoted to Contracts Director in 2019 and now oversees the delivery of complex projects across the business.

Giles is highly organised and a strong team player, with extensive experience in project management, client and stakeholder liaison, and team leadership. He places particular importance on robust project programming, ongoing review, and clear reporting throughout the works, ensuring a consistently high-quality service. His technical knowledge is underpinned by extensive education and training, giving him a strong understanding of works specifications, design processes, and the relevant legislation, including health and safety, site layout, temporary structure licensing, and traffic management requirements.

With over 10 years’ experience working on historic and sensitive buildings, Giles has led some of the company’s most prestigious projects, including the Natural History Museum and Liberty London. He has particular expertise in the planning and execution of complex scaffold access schemes, both externally with temporary roofs and internally with large birdcage scaffolding, and played a key role in the rolling roof and façade rolling scaffold design at the Natural History Museum.
