James joined DBR in 2022 as an Assistant Project Manager, following a BSc (Hons) in Construction Engineering Management from Loughborough University. During his studies, he gained valuable site experience as a Site Engineer on residential projects before progressing into assistant project management and coordination roles within a steel and timber construction firm.
James has developed strong site management experience, particularly on roofing and heritage projects, where effective communication with residents and stakeholders is essential. His work has included masonry repairs to chimney stacks, coping stones, and timber repairs to dormers and façades. He has also undertaken site management responsibilities at the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn, including programme coordination, reporting, and subcontractor management.
With a proactive and solutions-focused approach, James is building his experience across a range of conservation projects, contributing to the successful delivery of works while continuing to develop his project management skills.
