Iain Devine has been with DBR (London) Limited since 2001 as a Conservator/Mason, bringing extensive expertise in the conservation and repair of historic masonry. He trained at the Building Crafts College in London, achieving his NVQ and City & Guilds in Stonemasonry in 1998, and has since built a strong reputation for his precision and attention to detail.

Iain is highly skilled in a wide range of conservation techniques, including stone indenting, consolidation, grouting, and micro pinning. His work includes complex repairs to Carrara marble at Marble Arch, sandstone repairs to Nelson's Column, and conservation works at the Victoria and Albert Museum, where he also acted as Conservation Foreman on specialist plasterwork repairs.

With experience across major heritage sites including the Palace of Westminster and Hampton Court Palace, Iain combines technical expertise with a careful, methodical approach, ensuring high-quality conservation outcomes on some of the UK’s most significant historic structures.
