Edward joined DBR in 2016, initially working on projects at Westminster Abbey and across the Palace of Westminster, where he developed a strong understanding of conservation and restoration processes, particularly in brickwork and masonry. In 2018, he progressed into DBR’s Westminster management team as a Project Surveyor, contributing to key schemes including the award-winning courtyards stone restoration project and works to Westminster Hall.
Edward now plays a central role in delivering conservation projects across London, combining site management with surveying and commercial responsibilities. His experience includes managing subcontractors, undertaking stone surveys, supporting programme development, and assisting with tender preparation. He has also contributed to projects at the Elizabeth Tower and Buckingham Palace, bringing a well-rounded and practical approach to the successful delivery of complex heritage works.
