Marvin joined DBR in 2019, bringing experience from a range of industries and quickly establishing himself within the team. Starting as an improver, he rapidly developed a strong understanding of conservation practices and has since built an impressive skill set in pointing, mortar repairs, and the careful cleaning of stonework.
Marvin is conscientious, highly motivated, and takes great pride in producing work of the highest standard, with exceptional attention to detail. He thrives on challenging projects and continues to refine his craft with every scheme he undertakes. His project experience includes works at Chichester Cathedral, Royal Holloway University of London, and Fort Cumberland.
A significant milestone in Marvin’s career was successfully completing the Cathedral Works Fellowship and officially qualifying as a stonemason, an achievement that reflects his dedication, craftsmanship, and commitment to heritage conservation.
