Megan Cable

Megan is a passionate and collaborative heritage professional with a bachelor’s degree in History and over eight years’ experience focused on the conservation and restoration of historic buildings. She is a dedicated leader of project teams, with strong skills in stakeholder liaison and extensive experience working within live and sensitive environments.

Megan has worked on a range of prestigious heritage sites, including the UNESCO World Heritage Palace of Westminster and the Grade I listed Charlton House. As Estates Manager for the Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust, she was responsible for the conservation and maintenance of numerous listed buildings and historic assets, including conservation areas, war memorials, and museum and archive collections. More recently, Megan has been managing intrusive surveys and enabling ground works as part of the Palace of Westminster Restoration and Renewal Programme, delivering sensitive works across key areas including the Elizabeth Tower and the Central Lobby. Alongside her conservation work, Megan is also helping to lead DBR’s sustainability initiatives as the company works towards achieving net zero.
