Matt has been with DBR since 2010, starting his career as an apprentice and developing into a highly skilled fixer mason and site foreman. With a lifelong background in the stone industry, he has extensive experience in complex masonry works, particularly in the safe dismantling and manoeuvring of stone while maintaining structural integrity and site safety.
A hands-on and methodical foreman, Matt ensures all works are carried out to the highest standards, with strong attention to detail and clear communication across site teams, subcontractors, and clients. He has recently led works at Oakley Gardens, delivering stone installation, paving, and coordinated specialist trades, with a strong focus on tenant and stakeholder liaison.
Matt has also worked extensively across Royal Household properties, holding the necessary clearances and understanding the requirements of highly sensitive environments. His project experience includes the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn and Harrods, where he consistently delivers high-quality conservation works.
