Freddie is an Estimator at DBR (London) Limited with a strong academic background in Architectural Technology and the Conservation and Management of Historic Buildings. Combining technical knowledge with practical experience in heritage consultancy and construction estimating, he is committed to the preservation of historic fabric and the delivery of sustainable restoration solutions.
In his role, Freddie is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, pricing in-house trades, and managing subcontractor and supplier enquiries. He works closely with project teams, heritage consultants, and clients to develop quality tender submissions, assess project risks and opportunities, and support listed building consent processes. Freddie also undertakes condition surveys and prepares schedules of works, contributing to the sensitive repair and conservation of heritage assets.
He has worked across a range of projects for organisations including English Heritage, the Royal Household and Parliament, with experience on sites such as the Natural History Museum, Tring, the Royal Pavilion Brighton, and the National Maritime Museum. Freddie is proficient in a range of industry software including Causeway, Bluebeam, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite, supporting both technical delivery and presentation of heritage-focused proposals.
