DBR Conservation provides conservation of all types of stone objects ranging from delicate architectural ornament to figurative carving in materials such as limestone, sandstone, marble, and terracotta.

The services offered include:

– Condition surveys and treatment recommendations

– Discrete sampling and analysis

– Structural consolidation using consolidants (e.g. nanolimes), dowelling, and mortar repairs

– Conservation cleaning including simple mechanical cleaning, steam, micro-air abrasive techniques, laser, as well as the application of biocides, and a wide range of poulticing methods

– Surface consolidation including grouting, filleting, and the application of conservation resins~
