St Leonard's on Sea Methodist Church

St Leonard’s Church in St Leonards-on-Sea, Hastings is the main church serving James Burton, which Burtin designed himself just before his death. The building survived for more than a century despite being damaged as a result of World War II. English Heritage has listed it as a Grade II building for its architectural and historical importance.

DBR Southern were in charge of carrying out masonry works, which included the full replacement of the bath stone tracery window to Glass line (external side of the tracery window).

The internal side of the window was mortar repaired with stone in-dents and the entire tracery was lime based shelter coated to give the window a more uniform finish.
