The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn Leadwork

The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn 13-15 Old Square is a place of work for lawyers, barristers, and is also home to several residents.

DBR Leadwork carried out the removal of all Westmoreland slates which had suffered extensive damage from frost action and metal fixings fatigue. 38 tonnes of new Westmoreland slate was installed in diminishing courses and fixed directly back onto the existing close boarding.

New hand made decorative ridge tiles bespoke to the Inn’s architecture were manufactured and installed.

New code 6,7,8 milled lead was installed by DBR Lead workers to parapet gutters, dormers, crown flat roofs and flashings. This followed extensive timber repairs and alterations to ensure current guidelines were met.
