We are thrilled to announce we are this year’s SUSSEX HERITAGE TRUST?WINNER? in the Ecclesistical Category for our St. Leonard’s Hove project!

This exemplary project showcases conservation, regeneration for a community, environmental sustainability and incredible collaboration between stakeholders.

Sussex heritage trust remarked:
“This is an impressive project with significant changes to the church yet respecting the retained architecture. It has created a very friendly and approachable environment and the congregation is growing. The new porch at the West end is a light architectural additional. The heating provided by air-source pump supplemented by radiant heating is a hybrid scheme which should perhaps be considered for other churches. The building has been successfully transformed for more contemporary use as well as maintaining a space for traditional services.”

The judges were so impressed with the retention of the architecture whilst significant changes were made. Congratulations to all involved.
