An important part of our philosophy is to invest in our staff by providing training in heritage crafts and conservation management.

DBR regularly sponsors and participate in ‘Skills Workshops’ for the Greenwich Foundation, and  ‘Skills Challenges’ for Stone Federation. Additionally, DBR has forged links with training bodies dedicated to building craft skills such as The Prince’s Foundation, National Heritage Training Group, and The Masons Livery Company.

We want to ensure that our expertise is passed to the next generation of dedicated individuals. DBR actively seeks out new talent by recruiting apprentices from the Building Crafts College (BCC), recent graduates from City & Guilds Art School, along with management trainees from universities around the country.

As part of our objective to bring conservation principals and practice to a wider audience, DBR provides Continuing Professional Development (CPD) lectures in our field of expertise.

If you are interested in our CPD lectures or would like to know more about a career at DBR, please contact us.
